2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Specialist

Location: Swindon  Hybrid

Employment Type: Full Time/Contract


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related technologies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the M365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform.

  • Manage and maintain legacy HCL Domino Notes environments as needed.

  • Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Monitor system performance and implement optimisations to enhance stability and user experience.

  • Participate in migrations, upgrades, and rollouts of SharePoint and other M365 products.

  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and operational processes for future reference.

  • Stay current with updates, best practices, and innovations in M365


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration

  • Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and customisation

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., M365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Security Administrator) would be an asset but not mandatory

  • Experience with ITIL processes or similar frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent team player
