Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse cost estimates for various construction projects.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analyses.

  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with the budget.

  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures.

  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management review.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and associated costs.

  • Proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
